X-Poles are not specifically designed for outdoor use and are primarily intended for indoor use. Using an X-Pole outdoors can expose it to various weather conditions such as rain, sun, and wind, which can potentially damage the pole and compromise its safety. Additionally, outdoor surfaces may not provide the same level of stability and grip as indoor surfaces, increasing the risk of accidents or injury. It is recommended to use X-Poles only in indoor environments where they can be properly installed and maintained. **

The gear indicator in a BMW typically works by displaying the current gear the vehicle is in on the instrument cluster or the heads-up display. It uses data from the transmission control module to determine the gear position and then communicates that information to the driver through the display. This allows the driver to easily see which gear the vehicle is in without having to look down at the gear shifter. Some BMW models also have a gear shift indicator on the dashboard that lights up to indicate the recommended gear for optimal fuel efficiency. **
